It's on the web so it must be true.

Still run out of my backyard, but I have found the perfect space for it... right next to Treasure City Thrift on E. 12th. So if you know someone who's got some extra bucks to throw around, and who would care to throw them towards the tinkering cause, point them in my direction!
Tinkering for all!
Wowza! That's such amazingly awesome news! Totally impressed that you are making this happen! Whoooooo!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! This is very cool. Are you going to do regular classes (not camps) this summer, too?
ReplyDeleteThanks, KM!! You should bring your girls down and be a guest teacher in the fall or spring... we can build like some crazy amazing Rube Goldberg machine! Your daughter would be in heaven!
ReplyDeleteHey Jordan! Dang, I don't think I'm going to be able to do any classes... at least I don't think I will be able to... what did you have in mind??? Would love to see you and Henry and Henry(etta?) Jr. sometime!
My older daughter has been so into the Rube-Goldberg machine idea since I let her watch this...

We've yet to make a large one outside, but it'll happen at some point, because she has her heart set on a splatty paint finale like the one in the video ;)
Agh! I am so excited about doing something like that with my homeschool tinkering class! I might start out with a long fantastic marble run (with sawed lengthwise PVC pipes) first, though. Can't wait to see what you and your daughters come up with!
